PBGH online educational opportunities will help support the recertification efforts of professionals who obtain their SHRM-CPSM or SHRM-SCPSM certifications. As a member of the SHRM network, PBGH now will be able to award professional development credits for its programs that relate to the SHRM Body of Competency and Knowledge.
With the addition of HRCI Approved Provider status, PBGH learning opportunities can help support the more than 145,000 HR professionals in more than 100 countries who are HRCI certified, making it the world’s highest standard for HR professionals.
In the PBGH VBP learning module, participants will learn about the concepts and guiding principles behind value-based pricing, and the important role of health care purchasers in the process. Participants will review foundational metrics and data sources, as well as how to recognize and communicate the impact of VBP to management.
PBGH’s online learning opportunities will soon expand with more courses and additional silver and gold levels around different topics.
“We are honored to be selected by both SHRM and HRCI regarding our ongoing efforts to advance industry education related to health care,” said Jessica Brooks, CEO and executive director, PBGH. “The rapid pace of the changing health care landscape demands HR professionals build their arsenal of knowledge to better help their organizations drive value and improve benefits for employees.”
